Biography

Rappai graduated in Commerce from Christ College, University of Calicut, Kerala, India. Acquired business acumen from the family business and a financial competency from several stints in India.

He joined Video Home & Electronics Centre, Qatar in 1980 as an Accountant & subsequently rose to the Manager, General Manager & Director roles and is currently Director & Group CEO.
In a span of 40 years, C V Rappai has managed operations and overseen the expansion of the organization from a traditional retailer into a diversified group which includes Retail & Distribution, MEP Turnkey Contracting, B2B Projects Supplies, Real Estate Development & Hospitality. The Group employs over 1000 people as of today.
Rappai also sits on the board of socio-cultural societies and social welfare associations and actively gives back to the society.
